What you would be learning

At the end of this course, candidates will be able to

Describe financial models, say what they are used for and provide examples of where they might need a financial model
Understand the accounting that goes into a three statement financial model
Know the basic structure of a financial model. They should be able to break any modelling idea or business into this basic structure
State the types of financial models that we might have and what the output of each type could be
Build a flexible and fully functional financial model

Knowledge Required

Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel or spreadsheets generally will be an advantage.
